What kind of apartments does Ariv offer?

Our building is designed so that people can connect with each other. We offer modular studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom  apartments in various sizes - perfect for singles, couples, families or even groups.

Can I see the apartment before booking?

Yes, we will be happy to receive you for a personal tour. Please contact us by email at sales@ariv.ch to make an appointment.

What is included in the price?

For your monthly membership fee you will receive one of our beautifully and elegantly designed apartments with fortnightly cleaning, access to over 240 square feet of communal space (sports area, communal kitchen, coworking, lounge, rooftop terrace and laundry room), connection to our international and active community, free participation in our diverse community events as well as access to other benefits such as our self-service store, car/bike/scooter sharing from our partner CHAMA, partner discounts and much more.

What benefits and perks are available to members?

Free use of community spaces, including co-working facilities, cinema, Gym, community kitchen and more.

What is the maximum time I can stay at Ariv Zug, and can I register my domicile there?

You can stay as much as you want at Ariv. However,  Ariv Zug operates under a commercial property designation. Therefore, guests with an existing registered residence in Switzerland cannot register their domicile here, though they are welcome to stay with us without restriction on duration. Exatriates may register their domicile at Ariv Zug for up to 3 months.

What can I expect after I move in?

We will help you settle in seamlessly and without hassle. We'll give you tips for any necessary paperwork, introduce you to all the amenities and services at Ariv, and do everything we can to make you feel at home from day one.

How is the cancellation policy for Long Stay bookings?

Long-stay bookings with a refundable rate can be canceled up to 14 days before arrival without charge. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a fee equivalent to the first month's stay.If you need to end your stay early during your contract period, you may do so by providing a written notice at least 14 days before your desired move-out date.

How is the smooth care of guests ensured from the very beginning?

We rely on experienced hosts who have been specially trained again for Ariv.

We obtain our housekeeping from an external, professional operator.

Our community managers always have an open ear for the concerns of our members. Ariv is part of a group of companies that has already founded several successful concepts in the hospitality sector

Do you offer additional storage space?

Yes, for a small monthly fee we offer private basement boxes in various sizes.

However, larger furniture etc. must be stowed externally.

Does each apartment have access to washing machines/ironing facilities?

We have a laundry room with brand new washing machines and dryers that can be managed via app.

The cost is CHF 4 per wash cycle / CHF 3.5 per dry cycle.Our laundry room also has several free-use ironing stations for our members.

Are the apartments air conditioned?

Our apartments use concrete core activation instead of air conditioning for temperature control. This method utilizes the building’s ceilings and walls to store and release thermal energy, effectively cooling and heating the rooms. Please note that for this system to function optimally, the windows must remain closed.

Is there parking on site?

We have a parking lot onsite. Contact our service desk for more information.

Does Ariv have an outdoor area?

Yes, there is an outdoor seating area in front of our building.

What catering options do I have around the Ariv?

There are some options nearby for breakfast and lunch. Ask our service desk for more information.

What can I experience around Ariv Zug?

You can explore the charm of Cham and Zug with a variety of activities including lakeside strolls, historic town tours, countryside bike rides, visits to parks and museums, dining on local cuisine, wine tours, attending festivals, and participating in industry events.

How far is Ariv from the city centre?

The city centre of Zug is approximately 10 minutes away by car or public transport. The city centre of Cham is just a 5 to 10 minute drive away, or a 15 minute walk.

Is home office / hybrid working possible in Ariv?

Yes, our rooms are equipped with desks, chairs and internet access and in our community area there is a work zone with office supplies, printer, individual workstations, etc.

How fast is the internet connection on the apartments?

100 Mbps, which is sufficient for streaming HD movies, for example.

What sports are available at Ariv?

We have our own sports room with basic equipment for yoga, gymnastics or bodyweight exercises. In addition, the beautiful surroundings invite you to go jogging.

Do all apartments have a TV?

Yes, all our apartments have a Smart TV with satellite reception, through which you can access locally available streaming providers (own accounts required). Plus we have as well a Cinema room where you our guests can watch their preferred show and movie.

Are there side beds for babies/children?

Yes, we have some extra beds available upon request.

Can I receive mail at Ariv?

Yes, during your stay you will have your own mailbox and package reception.

Does Ariv offer smoking apartments?

No, there is a general ban on smoking in our indoor facilities for the benefit of our members, guests and employees.

What is the cost of the rental bikes?

You can rent a bike directly from our external provider, CHAMA. Below the prices:

Are pets allowed?

Dogs are allowed on our premises, but only if they are officially announced at the time of reservation / booking. There are only a limited number of rooms where dogs are allowed, so a reservation with a dog must first be officially confirmed. The host must confirm the availability in writing.

What are the costs for the rental cars?

These are provided by an external provider. Our members receive special conditions.

What is the pandemic concept in the event of another lockdown?

We adhere to federal guidelines within our building, our apartments are all Self-Sustainable to allow for Social Distancing and isolation in case of emergency.
